What's the first thing that comes to mind when uttering "George Clooney"? Actor? Direct or? Producer? Womanizer? Bachelor? So many newspapers and magazines speak to you about Clooney, picturing him in various ways; some with great respect, others just to ensure their number of copies. Aren't you curious to find out things you didn't know about George up to now? If so, these facts will make you happy.
Did you know that Clooney has turned down some roles in some movies which later became block-busters? For instance, he was contacted to play the part of Robert Langdon in "The Da Vinci Code" and the part of Mr. Fantastic in the extraordinary "Fantastic Four" in 2005.
He even turned down the leading role in "World Trade Center" (2006) which was later given to Nicholas Cage. It's clear that the man knows his priorities!

According to what Clooney himself has stated, his idea of a perfect woman includes one that has "Nicole Kidman's laughter, Julian Roberts' personality, Michelle Pfeiffer's quintessence of beauty and Jennifer Lopez's ambition". He's picky all right! He might as well try to offer all of them a part in his next movie!
You have certainly heard about Vogue, haven't you? Its cover is women exclusive! Well, not quite exclusive, because Clooney is only one of the two men that have appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine (the other one being Richard Gere). Even more, George was the first one on the cover of the masculine version of the same magazine (Men's Vogue, 2005). This may explain the tens of awards Clooney has received as sexiest man alive, best dresses man, Hollywood's most wanted bachelor and others.
Despite the fact that he is not very fortunate in his love life, George Clooney still has some love to offer, especially towards two persons in his life: his mother Nina (who is constantly nagging George about getting married) and Max. Wait...did I say two persons? My mistake, because Max is Clooney's pet, a pot-bellied pig.
Max has been faithful to George for about
16 years now and the latter doesn't restrain from admitting that his
relationship with his pet is the longest he has ever had. Even the ladies seem
to adore Max who owns his private home, in the garden. If you have ever wondered
what person would offer a pot-bellied pig as gift to Clooney, the answer is
Clooney himself. Actually, Max was given by George to Kelly Preston, his former
girlfriend, who abandoned it when got separated from the actor. What can I say?
Lucky Max and George!
Clooney might be a great star, but he's still human. You'll be surprised to find out that during high school George suffered from Bell's palsy for a time. The disease was affecting half of the face muscles, this being the reason for which at the age of 15 his features began distorting. Imagine that! Lucky he got well in about a year. Speaking of health problems, George also suffers from ulcer and, in 2005, during the filming of a scene in "Syriana", he hit his head on the concrete floor, tearing his durra mater and underwent surgery to bolster his spine with plastic bolts.
